How it works

A flow you can read at a glance.

Every step has a clear purpose and every branch stays visible. Start from a proven pattern, build from scratch or ask Theta AI to draft the structure.

01

Begin with a supported event

Start when a contact enters a segment, joins or leaves a list, opens, clicks, does not open after a delay, or reaches a recurring date.

02

Wait for the right moment

Add time delays between steps so a welcome, reminder or follow-up arrives with the right pacing.

03

Branch on behavior

Split the journey based on an open, a field value, a tag or a goal, then give each path a relevant next step.

04

Change the audience

Add, remove or move contacts between lists and update customer fields directly from the flow.

05

Catch incomplete steps

Validation points out missing templates, senders and settings before an automation can go live.

06

Draft with Theta AI

Describe the journey, inspect the proposed plan and convert it into editable nodes on the same canvas.

Entry points

Start from an event the system records.

The trigger catalogue is deliberately finite. Each available trigger maps to a contact, engagement or timing event supported by the automation engine.

01

Enters a segment

Begin when a contact newly matches a saved segment. The segment owns the complex audience logic.

02

Joins or leaves a list

Scope the trigger to one or more lists so the entry condition is unambiguous.

03

Opens an email

React to a tracked open, with the usual limitations of open tracking in modern mail clients.

04

Clicks a link

Start from any tracked click or require a destination URL containing a specific value.

05

Does not open

Check daily whether the chosen number of days has passed without a recorded open.

06

Date or anniversary

Run when the month and day match a birthday or signup anniversary. The check recurs each year.

Flow controls

Every node has one understandable responsibility.

The canvas uses four node types: trigger, action, wait and condition. Validation catches missing configuration before the flow is activated.

01

Send an email

Choose the template and sender for the step. A drafted subject does not make an incomplete email step ready to activate.

02

Wait for a duration

Pause for a number of minutes, hours, days or weeks before continuing.

03

Wait until a time

Hold the contact until a configured time condition is reached instead of guessing with a fixed delay.

04

Branch on behavior

Split into yes and no paths for an open, click, list membership or supported field comparison.

05

Update the audience

Add to a list, remove from a list or update the supported name, phone and status fields.

06

End explicitly

Use an end node when a branch should stop rather than continuing into another action.

Planning and review

A draft remains a draft until the operational details are complete.

Starter flows and Theta AI reduce the setup work. They do not choose a sender, silently activate the automation or bypass validation.

01

Welcome series

A starter structure sends a welcome message, waits two days and follows with helpful content.

02

Re-engagement

Start when somebody enters an inactive segment, then space the follow-up rather than sending both messages together.

03

Birthday

Use a recurring date audience to send a single celebration message.

04

Click follow-up

Wait after a tracked click before sending a relevant offer or explanation.

05

Theta AI plan

Describe the intended journey and convert the proposed steps into editable nodes on the canvas.

Where enabled
06

Activation checklist

Resolve missing templates, senders and required trigger settings before the automation can go live.

Practical starting points

Begin with a job, not an empty canvas.

The page lists only triggers, actions and conditions offered by the current builder. SMS and team notifications are not presented as available automation actions. Theta AI planning is described as available where enabled.

01

Welcome sequence

Introduce the brand without sending every message on the day somebody joins.

  1. Trigger when a contact joins the chosen list
  2. Send the welcome template
  3. Wait two days
  4. Send the getting-started template
02

Interest follow-up

Respond to a meaningful click while keeping the next message relevant.

  1. Trigger on a link containing the chosen destination
  2. Wait one day
  3. Send the related follow-up
  4. End the automation
03

Re-engagement branch

Treat a return to engagement differently from continued inactivity.

  1. Trigger from an inactive segment
  2. Send the first message
  3. Wait five days
  4. Branch on open and handle each path separately
